Dear all,
Two weeks ago we had a meeting with the members. We discussed the following dilemma:
In some cases you want to start self evaluation in cooperation with others. In fact, you want those others to become to feel the initiating and responsible 'self' too. What should you do to get people involved in such a way?
We could think of a couple of things that might be useful:
- Pay attention to the context of the self evaluation: why is this useful for our work, our students, ourselves etc.
- When the goal is rather ambitious or a long term development, try to see a self evaluation activity as a part of the whole process. Keep it simple ans SMART. For the format this means it is useful to add a cell to describe the context of the self evaluation activty, including the over all and maybe long term goal. Use 'we' instead of 'I'.
- Make clear that self evaluation is not only to look back, but also a way to define what you want to continue doing in the future.
Good luck for you all!

Self evaluation matters if you are not self-respectful person. You need to choose your destiny
